Please.” It struck me deeply—I couldn’t imagine being so helpless, especially with a sick child waiting for him. Without thinking too much, I took a deep breath and handed the bus workers my money. “I’LL PAY HIS FINE!” I said. I knew it was the right thing to do. After all, some things are more important than a beautiful dress. The man thanked me over and over before rushing off to his daughter.
