The incident was captured on video as crowds watched officers close in and bring the rider into custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Witnesses said the man was weaving through traffic and riding on areas not designated for vehicles, raising safety concerns for both pedestrians and drivers. Times Square is one of the most heavily congested sections of the city, and any unauthorized vehicle can create immediate hazards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officers quickly responded after spotting the rider and attempted to stop him before anyone was put at risk. The man continued moving through the area despite warnings, prompting police to intervene more aggressively to prevent a potential accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Video shows NYPD officers surrounding the moped and tackling the rider to the ground as bystanders looked on.
