COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) \u2014 The Collier County Sheriff\u2019s Office released a video<\/a> Friday of first responders tending to the victim of a tiger attack on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sheriff\u2019s office first said the attack happened<\/a>after an employee of Wooten\u2019s Everglades Airboat Tours entered a tiger\u2019s enclosure while it was being fed by its owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies said the employee, 48-year-old Ignacio \u201cNacho\u201d Meabe Martinez, was not authorized to be with the tiger at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNacho, what were you doing in the cage?\u201d a deputy asked while bandaging the man\u2019s bloody arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a man in the video said that he didn\u2019t think Meabe Martinez was in the cage and was actually pulled inside by the tiger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deputy said it appeared that Meabe Martinez\u2019s wounds were down to the bone but did not appear to cut his arteries. A part of his middle finger was also severed by the tiger, according to the deputy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAm I f\u2014 dead?\u201d the man said as he groaned in pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collier County EMS took Meabe Martinez to an area hospital for treatment. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is investigating what happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
